Spring is in the air and the first quarter of 2019 is almost behind us! It has been a strong season with many new and past clients coming into our showroom and reupholstering their furniture with bright and colorful fabric. For the first time in Aby’s Upholstery history, we offered our First of the Year and Valentine’s Day Promotions and it was so wonderful seeing each and every one of you visit us and transform your furniture! Thank you for your continued friendship and commitment to Aby’s Upholstery, we wouldn’t be here without you, and we are so excited for this next season! If you haven’t subscribed already, please join our newsletter for special promotions, updates, and news about all that’s going on here, we have a lot more coming to you this Spring and Summer season!

At the end of 2018, we talked about the power of letting go and generosity and what naturally sets in once we do—we begin to create energy that reciprocates what we give out, simply put, you get what you give—and that is exactly what we are going to continue to do throughout 2019!

As we head into tax season there are a lot of mixed emotions, some of us are excited, expecting our tax returns, and some of us are feeling like we’re being squeezed, so how do we get through it all? One day at a time.

I try not to ever overthink or overcomplicate situations, but instead, allow my faith to guide me, strategically plan, and listen to God’s guidance and love, every day, alongside this, nothing feels better than a good work out! Working out and keeping my body moving, allows my brain to be clear, and gives me the energy I need to tackle the day. Usually, I wake up at 5 am, each morning, and take my work out time as me time. When I do this, I start to feel ideas flowing and stress releasing; I become alert, attentive, and ready to interact with my family and my company. This sort of discipline and healing energy leaks out into every other area of my life, and that is what motivates me to press on.

If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, tired, or all of those things together, take a breath, and remember, one day at a time, then, spring forward. Move, get outside, go for a walk, dance, get your body moving, and feel the joy of letting the stress go. Then remember, I am with you, I am rooting for you, and regardless of where you are or what you are going through, you have someone in your corner, just like each and every one of you has been for me, during tax season, and every other season of our lives!
