Aby's Upholstery is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our Aby personally and our team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our small businesses general administrative activities.
Administrative Assistant responsibilities include booking appointments, preparing the office space, maintaining organized systems, and working with clients on fabric and design choices. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you also have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.
Not only do you help with the day to day administrative roles, we also are seeking someone who loves design and fabric. If you have a keen eye for color, and can drum up inspiration for our clients, you will love the flexibility of this role.
Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office, along with interacting with clientele, and maintaining an upbeat positive energy.
Answer and Direct Phone Calls
Organize and Schedule Appointments
Write and Distribute Email, Correspondence Memos, Letters, and Newsletters
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and Maintain a filing system
Order Office Supplies and Research New Deals and Suppliers
Maintain Contact Lists
Provide General support to visitors
Provide Customer Service to Clients, Help with Fabric Decisions and Design
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Maintain Cleanliness of Office Space
