Aby's Upholstery is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our CEO, Aby, personally and our team, assisting in daily office needs and managing our small businesses general administrative activities, alongside customer service aspects and sales tasks.
Administrative Assistant responsibilities include booking appointments, preparing the office space, maintaining organized systems, and working with clients on fabric and design choices. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment, alongside design interest or fabric or textiles background. If you also have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d love to meet you.
Not only do you help with the day to day administrative roles, we also are seeking someone who loves design and fabric. If you have a keen eye for color, and can drum up inspiration for our clients, you will love the flexibility of this role.
Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office, along with interacting with clientele, and maintaining an upbeat positive energy.
Cut & Sew Upholsterer
Have you been looking to work with a tremendous upholstery staff here in San Jose? Then look no further. We’re hiring for an excellent and skilled cut and sew upholsterer to work alongside experienced upholsterers here in our work room. You must have excellent cutting and sewing skills alongside experience with multiple fabric types from leather to linen. We work primarily in residential and commercial upholstery and oftentimes antique furniture. Woodworking experience is a plus!
